Varying customer demand during the monthly production cycle combined with manual procedures results in vendor resentment & financial losses due to varying customer demand & last minute information about it.

iStrat Problem Analysis: Real time information transfer required between company and suppliers about production plans based on the frequently varying customer demands.

iStrat Solution: Developed a Vendor Relationship Management solution using SQL and ASP. This solution resulted in real time information transfer to the vendors. The vendors could be informed and then bid for the quantities they could deliver within the required constraints.

End Result: Implemented VRM solution that resulted in increased adherence to delivery schedules, increased vendor profitability and consequently increased company profitability and reliability..

Client: An international Wire & Fishing Net Manufacturing company

Problem Posed: The company has international customers. Due to the seasonal nature of the customer's business and its dependence on environmental conditions the customers become aware of their requirements of the company's products when the season starts. The season lasts for about 3 to 4 months, hence it is imperative that the product be supplied as soon as the customer becomes aware of its needs.

iStrat Problem Analysis: There is a requirement for the company to proactively target its customers and try to study the trends in their demand cycles. Secondly, the customers should be able to place the orders immediately upon realization of the need without any lag time with the company so that the company can plan their production schedules to meet the demands in time.

iStrat Solution: Developed a Net-based Customer Relationship Management solution using SQL and ASP. This solution resulted in immediate information transfer from the customer to the company.

End Result: The company could proactively obtain information about the relationship between the customer demand cycle and the environmental factors in those geographic regions. This resulted in pre-planning of the sales and production schedules and proactive customer contact to prod the customer for orders. The company is seeing increased revenues every year.
